About us

Nolengka Farm Pty Ltd, founded by Mrs. Kanego Sandra Thamane, operates in the Limpopo Province under the Elias Motsoaledi Municipality in Sekhukhune District. Situated on Stoffburg Farm, it specializes in agro-processing medicinal products from Mansonia augustifolia and Aloe ferox trees, utilizing both traditional and modern methods. Mrs. Thamane's vision is to cultivate these plants and establish a processing facility.

Established formally in 2019, after informal operations, the company provides a range of agricultural services and employment opportunities to agricultural economics students and freelancers. It also participates in government initiatives under the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment strategy, partnering with AGRISETA to offer learnerships and skill development.

Mrs. Thamane previously worked for ten years in social development, gaining extensive experience in community development projects. After her contract ended in 2018, she focused on Nolengka Farm, leveraging her family's land of approximately 3,000 hectares. She holds a Level 3 Mix Farming Certificate from Lumel Solution Academy and is pursuing an agricultural science degree part-time at UNISA. The farm employs five full-time and five part-time workers, providing training and development opportunities.

Vision & Mission

NOLENGKA Enterprises, a subsidiary of NOLENGKA FARM PTY LTD within its agribusiness services division, is dedicated to delivering exceptional services to individual farmers, agro-processing, manufacturing, community farming projects, government, municipalities, schools, agri-career guidance, TVET colleges, and the private sector. The company plans to establish a skill development center to create job opportunities for inexperienced agricultural advisors, agro-processors, agricultural managers, and experts over the next 2-5 years through a graduate development program. NOLENGKA Enterprises seeks collaboration with diverse industries beyond agriculture to expand exposure and experience, enhancing future employment prospects. As the country’s most successful female farmer, my focus includes agro-processing, animal breeding, crop farming, and training. I am committed to empowering youth and women in agribusiness, promoting sustainable agriculture for food security, reducing food waste, and offering skill development training for the underprivileged. Additionally, I aim to contribute to our nation’s health with organic products.
